Legal basis
The basis for the notification is the amended Electronic Communications Act ((ZEKom-1; (Uradni list RS, št. 109/12, 110/13, 40/14 – ZIN-B, 54/14 – odl. US, 81/15 in 40/17). It introduced new rules regarding the use of cookies and similar technologies to store information or access information stored on a user's computer or mobile device.
What are cookies?
Our website https://www.lancom.si is using cookies. The operator of »cookies« and website is company LANCom d.o.o., Tržaška cesta 63, 2000 Maribor. Cookies are small files that are important for the operation of websites, most often in order to make the user experience better. A cookie usually contains a sequence of letters and numbers that is loaded on a user's computer when they visit a particular website. These are also examples of cookies that are linked to social network plug-ins, for analyzing traffic (counting visitors, identifying browsers and keywords), marketing and advertising, where it is very important whether the marketing is carried out by own cookies or third-party cookies pages.
